I have large number of input files to run in orca software. I have named the files as follows, orcafile0, orcafile1,...and so on upto 512 files. How do I write a batch program to run all the files in windows . I have ignored all the electron-electron repulsion term. Moreover the number of atoms are just 8 in each file and all the atoms are hydrogen. So while doing it manually each file just takes 2 seconds. I want to make it run automatically using a batch program or some other mode which can run automatically all the files. Please help me
You can write a script that generate a batch with the command to run orca for each input file. In linux with ls -1 >> filesdir.txt you put the file names in the corresponding folder into filesdir.txt, then you need to put the command to run Orca.
