Hello. I run my Abaqus simulation in the supercomputer and once it's done, I copied the result (odb file) into my local computer using winSCP. But I faced a problem to read that file (see picture). How can I resolve this issue? How to ensure that the file was copied using the binary mode instead of ASCII mode? Thank you in advance.
Isyna Muna : I'm not answering your question. I am giving you some suggestion to tackle the challenge you are facing.
1. I never faced that issue. The reason could be that I used a Linux OS on my PC. I used the sshfs porting to the High Performance Computing (HPC) system. So, the ODB file transfer from HPC to my PC was never showed corrupt file, even when I transferred files of large size like 8-10 GB. You may try using a Linux OS on your Windows OS PC in a VirtualBox.
2. I am just suggesting you an alternative method which might be effective to get data from ODB. I extract all required data from .odb file using Python script on the HPC. So, I need to transfer .txt (this is my choice of file format) file from HPC system to my PC. This method has one drawback, that is, you can't have any visualization.

I have resolved the issue by login into the available data mover server via WinSCP.
Rudraprasad Bhattacharyya rightly mentioned the answer. However, when we need visualization then we need to transfer .odb files to our PC. When I tried to transfer larger .odb files from HPC to my PC, I got the same error (I used mobaxterm software).
The problem is solved by transferring the files using cmd. The command used is
scp –r username@ipaddress:/source_folder_address_In_HPC destination_folder_address
