One can easily find several tools on the web to list the most cited articles in a particular field. I'm wondering if there is a tool capable of:
1.) List which papers/authors a specific author cites more frequently;
2.) List co-authors - I know Google Scholar can do that, but I'm not sure if you can list them by specific criteria (citations, the number of joint publications, etc.).
I'm might be mistaken, but it seems to me that taking just citation number into account might be misleading if other factors, such as the publishing date and journal are not taken into account. I'm looking for more efficient ways to perform this task (or finding out that it can't be done so far).
And, since we are talking about it: what is your most trusted tool for evaluating the relevance of papers/authors?
Thanks a lot!
