i am working in state power utility as distribution engineer and presently pursuing phd in electrical engineering . i searching for my PhD topic kindly suggest how i can reduce peak load of utility grid with large no. of roof top solar pv connected with 11kv feeders . i also want to reduce cost of energy at same time .

Based on that data, the solar-PV distributed generation would be a good choice for the direct relief of the peak load stress on the utility grid energy system. The optimized sizing of such distributed solar-PV generation considering issues such as economics, voltage rise, losses, protection coordination would be a good study that may fits PhDs.
