I have some problem with my multiclamp setup.
I'vd tried several ways that I know, I couldn't improved the noise.
very first time, the noise gap is around 40 pA.
After I ground, microscope and stages and so on, it went down to 20 pA but I cannot push it down more.
I've plug off every equipment except computer, multiclamp and digidata, but it still showed 20pA.
Is this coming from computer?

There are two main sources of noise:
Man made noise, that is noise which comes through interference of the other nearby signal sources,
Internal or intrinsic noise which is generated inside the measuring apparatus such as thermal and shot noise. If you display your noise on an oscilloscope one can see its source.
However, using proper filters can further reduce the noise. To make proper filter one has to know the nature of the signal, specifically its frequency spectrum. One important concept is that the internal noise is proportional to the bandwidth. So, one can reduce it by decreasing the band width.
It is also that the clamps with pressure contacts has a contact resistance whcih can prodyce noise. So, it is advisable to reduce reduce the resistance of the pressure contacts.
