I am evaluating the concentration of chemical inhibitors in pretreated sugarcane bagasse before and after detoxification. These inhibitors include: Furfural, 5-HMF, acetic acid, formic acid, vanillin, p-coumaric acid and ferulic acid. How can I prepare inhibitor standards for the HPLC ? What solvents should I use ?
