India, being a signatory to UNCRPD (2006), has implemented inclusion to be practiced in all its primary schools. However, preparation and readiness is missing. We need to know the exact way to practice inclusion in its real spirit.
Hi Yash. You have some ideas in my doctoral dissertation. Here you have the link: http://www.tdx.cat/handle/10803/117153. I hope it could be useful for you.
Great to hear India is a step ahead of Kenya because inclusion is not practiced in all schools. I am studying on teachers'attitudes toward inclusion in Kenya. Any ideas and instruments to use let me know please
Hello Yash. There is a very practical guide available called Inclusive Education: Supporting Diversity in the Classroom. It is written by academics who have assisted with the implementation of inclusion in Bangladesh, Ukraine, the South Pacific Nations and many other places. It was awarded the Exceptional Book of the Year Award 2011, and has been recommended by the Ministry of Education, Ukraine as the key reading material for all pre-service and in-service teacher preparation programs in Ukraine. Also have a look at the other work of Tim Loreman, Joanne Deppeler, Umesh Sharma and Chris Forlin. Best wishes with your work!
