I am working on patch antennas. I have designed a antenna at 2.45 GHz on a flexible substrate material. Now, i want to wrap the antenna on a cylindrical surface and simulate using HFSS tool. The wrap sheet and thicken sheet function in HFSS is not very accurate as the curvature is made up of small straight surfaces. So, the copper does not perfectly sit on the substrate material. Can anyone guide me the proper way to conformal the antenna perfectly?

The copper seems not to be on the sheet because of the resolution and mesh problems. But it is on the conformal surface. It also happens when I draw a curve with the arc operation or functions. However, It is recommended to use mesh operation like surface operation when simulating electrically small curved structures, especially the transmission lines in my opinion. To fix the visual problem that the two sheets are not matched, render options and model resolution may be adjusted.
