I am doing an experiment on functionalization of MWNTs. At the first step, I have to ozonize MWNTs under ozone stream. Because MWNTs are very light and could easily be blown away by the ozone stream, I do not know if MWNTs should be treated as pristine powder or should be dispersed in any solvent.
Place the material between 2 sintered glass discs and pass the ozonized oxygen downwards through the system.

I suggest placing the MWNT sample into a glass septa vial or a suitable length glass tubing. Use a glass wool plug or silacone septa to cover end(s). Connect ozone gas supply to a silicone or PTFE tubing, attach a glass pasteur pipette or luer needle to the end of tubing. Place the tip of the pasteur pipette or needle through glass wool (or septa) and into the vial / glass tube. Adjust ozone feed to achieve a gentle flow. This should allow O3 to diffuse and freely react with the MWNT sample.

I think it's better to use pure water as a medium to disperse the Mwcnts, and purge it with ozone gas. we have done similar kind of experiment and succeeded. https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/article/ieejfms/136/4/136_180/_article
