Hi Guys, I modelled a bridge in SAP2000 and wanted to do a Pushover Analysis. Therefore I have chosen several load cases. I chose the "mode" Load type for the pushover load case and typed in the mode number for "load name".

For the longitudinal (x-direction or u1) I typed in the following input parameters (see attached picture) and I dont get any warnings.

But for the transverse (y-direction or u2) I get the following warning: Maximum number of null steps reached. I also found some other questions regarding this warning and the solutions for this were to increase the Convergence tolerance and increase null steps. Of course the calculation works well if I do these two adjustions, but my Pushover Curve doenst look correct at all.

I have a feeling that the problem occurs due to the input parameters for the load case in the transverse direction (u2). Does anyone have any recommendations?
