I have been wondering if you have done calculations on FeCl3.6H2O. Like I am getting stuck on the structure of how to optimize the compound. I understand that FeCl2.4 H2O is the most stable form but what happens to the remaining atoms. Where does the Cl and 2 H2O molecules go.
