The main cause of climate change is increasing concentration of CO2, Aerosols, and other pollutants into the atmosphere. So if you want to assess the impact of climate change on the biodiversity of a particular region so you can read IPCC reports. They have generated several climate change predictors which may be helpful to understand the behavior of local environment against climatic instability.
