Procedures that can be taken when casting concrete to avoid the effect of hot weather on its properties
1. Reduce the temperature of the components of the concrete by cooling.
2. Use slow-freezing materials.
3. Use of low heat cement type
4. Prevent the evaporation of water from the mixture and should avoid the rapid evaporation in particular.
5. Protect concrete from sunlight.
6. Cooling the concrete after casting with moisturizing with water.
Also there are many research papers on using ground granulated blast furnace slag (designated as GGBS) and replace it with cement.
thanks Ahmed Mahdi for your answer
Adding ice with water
heat of hydration can reduced by :
-reducing the content of cement using a mineral addition such as fly ash.
-by using low heat cement.
