We have a cold room at 4°C to keep Petri dishes, chromatography columns, buffers, etc. Gradually, mould was built onto the surface of our samples and kits. Is there a way to minimise the mould?

The cold air is provided by powerful ventilation machines, so I think the ventilation is not a problem.
