How to merge coloc correlation coefficient data (Mander's or Pearson) from multiple single images together and get statistics?

Using Imaris or other turnkey programs, I can export Mander's or Pearson coefficients from 2-color images, but then, how do I take these numbers that I get from multiple images, and statisticize (yes I just made up that word) / combine them, and then compare treatment to controls?

Thanks!

EDIT IN ANSWER TO LAFIFI:

I much appreciate your answer and the links and files you uploaded. I am familiar with some of the sources you brought.

None of them show what to do AFTER I get coefficient values. For example, the Write document, shows how to use one of the imagej plugins, and shows a screen shot of the results window, and then just says :" ...exported to spreadsheet programs for further analysis ".

I am using the Imaris coloc module for 3D images. I can export the

coefficient values for every image. But then what do I do?

THAT is my problem. Can I do a simple average of the coefficient values from many images of the same treatment and compare to the average of the control?

cheers.
