I am writing a literature review of some articles, and in order to mention the sub-topic impact and trend on the main research topic I want to include the citation count of these articles in some way. What is the best way to do so? Any sample report i can refer to?

I don't think that there is any formal standard for reporting this. Instead, you need to develop a format that you can use throughout your article. In particular, you need to decide which source you will use for your citation counts. If most of the articles in your field are in English, then I would recommend the Science Citation Index (Web of Science), but if you want a broader source with higher counts, then Google Scholar would be appropriate. Of course, you could always report of those numbers, to allow for the separate strengths and weaknesses of each.
