I have the % reflectance value of a material obtained from UV-vis NIR spectrophotometer. But i do not know how to calculate the total solar reflectance value from the obtained values. I came to know that, with proper excel template we can calculate the TSR value. Can any one help me in this regard ?
There is no simple and accurate relationship between the total (integrated spectrum) reflectance and the UV to NIR reflectance as the atmosphere attenuates the solar radiation with intensities that depend on the wavelength. The reult might depend on the solar zenithal angle, too. If I were to deal with this, and if the result does not need to be accurate (say 10% of relative error), I would use a radiative transfer model, say libRadtran, and perform a first run with the whole spectrum and standard inputs describing the content of the atmosphere, and then a second run but with the limited wavelength range. I would make the ratio of the irradiances and apply this ratio to my own data.
