I am looking for a way to measure the temperature distribution of a sample while exposing it to laser radiation. My idea was to put an infrared camera under the sample, but maybe there is a more rational solution?
There is a method called holographic interferometry. Maybe this would work as a no contact measurement method?
A reviewing chapter on "Thermometry in Laser Micro/Nanofabrication" was recently published here. The RG-link below provides the fulltext.
