I am looking for a good measure for "concern for reputation". Alternatively, a measure for employees' involvement in reputation management processes. Any suggestions are much appreciated!
However, if we mention about "concern for reputation" at organizational level, some measures may be developed. For example, existence of an unit in organizations that focuses on improvement of reputation (e.g. 0 = No unit; 1 = Partially related unit (such as public relations, corporate communication etc.); 2 = Existence of a directly related unit (e.g. reputation management, on line reputation management etc.) can be used as measure of "concern for reputation" at organizational level. In addition, the place of this unit on organizational chart may be an other measure to assess "concern for reputation" of an organization. Finally, number of staffs who are employed in the unit (or ratio of this number to number of total staff) may be another measure. Good luck in your studies!
In addition, although it may be difficult to find this data, budget shares of organizations that are allocated to reputation management activities may be an other indicator of "concern of reputation" at organizational level.
I suppose you have already found this article, if not: https://boa.unimib.it/retrieve/handle/10281/23143/29688/IMF_concern_for_reputation_and_conditional.pdf
