I would like to compute some factor inside the a boundary. I have the coordinates of this boundary. I must use a rectangle which each iteration is moving though the image. However, I cannot apply boundary for this rectangle. how to set the inside of the boundary to 1 and 0 for the all of the rectangles (each segment under analysis) in MATLAB.
First: remember the coordinates from where you read the image data
Second:Copy the image data inside the boundary to another buffer and make the changes you want (complement /make all zeros ....)
Third : copy it back to the original image
else use this new buffer as an independent image frame with new coordinate references
You can create Polygonal Mask using "roipoly".
For Example :
Read an image into the workspace.
I = imread('eight.tif');
Define the vertices of the mask polygon.
c = [222 272 300 270 221 194];
r = [21 21 75 121 121 75];
Create the binary mask image.
BW = roipoly(I,c,r);
Display the original image and the polygonal mask.
