I am trying to work on the manufacturing of Liquid crystal polymers followed by doping for modifications in its characteristics. If any one has worked on this, I need help in understanding the process , and if any small scale laboratory model can be prepared for this process. the process may require a vacuum oven for preparation, poymerisation reactors , high shear mixers for dopants and other related equipments. if anyone has worked on this in amy form, please share the methodology and the specification sof equipments used.
Liquid crystal polymers can be manufactured in the lab by polymerizing monomers in controlled reactors, followed by film formation using extrusion and vacuum ovens. Property modification is achieved by doping with additives using high shear mixers for uniform dispersion.
