Hi Prasanna Kumari,

To implement your status, you need install Database server in one machine with SQL Authentication. Copy the link of the Database server(IP address), give that as an input to your SQL Engine(Another machine)+your credentials. That's it. Your connection is made.

Thanks for your response. Does database server is a separate software?

At present we have SQL management studio 2012 in both of my systems. If it is seperate then please send me the website link that where it can be download. Also please give clear instructions on how to make a system as server and to open the data base in other system what are the procedures should I need to follow. I'm new to this field and I don't have any previous experience on this. So, please do needful. Thanks in advance

Configuration of a server is mostly depending on the target domain intended to be supplied by this system. Such a system means hardware - one or more machines - and software, both in a specific combination. Depending with the actual needs to be solved, these components can vary in a significant manner. For this reason, your question is not easy to find a short reply as the configuration acts in fact over entire hardware and software. A major component, in both cases above, is the security. Major part of the configuration deals in fact with security of the systems engaged into the built system. If you intend to build a system for max 25 users, than the security can be seen as 'normal' level (firewall, etc. mainly OS supplied). IF you expect more than 100 users, the configuration should be supported with load balancing, caching server, etc. - meaning specialized applications.

Recommendation is to try virtual machine as testing environment. VirtualBox can be a very good start. You can leave the implicit definition provided during the installation script.
