I'm looking for ideas, concepts, frameworks, of how to make academic change happen in higher institutions. Planning is easy, but to make it happen is a challenge. TQ
I can share my own experience with academic change. I was really "daunted" by the number of graduate students who procrastinated on their final research projects. While many did well in completing their research courses on time, approximately 80% asked for extensions every academic year. But, there did not seem to be any change on the horizon to address this issue. I wrote for a small research grant that allowed me to have a research assistant. I piloted a series of research e-clinics one month before the graduate students' final research projects were due. Many of the students found the e-clinics to be instructive in helping to answer questions about their research, making requested supervisor revisions, and finding articles to support their research. As such, many were able to complete in a timely manner. I have attached the recent conference paper I presented in this regard and hope it's useful for you.
Many thanks,
Debra

Bologna system disrupted some well-established school systems.
In the Czech Republic was for example very high quality vocational education .
After the introduction of the bachelor's degree is very tediously clarify of competences between the middle schools and high schools. It is not very good situation.
Thank you for all the answers and information/resources provided. If you come across a framework of making academic change in higher education, pls share. TQSM
