How to justify or verify that your research topic is novel and there are no past parallel studies?.
One way i can think of is that searching data bases with key words of your research topic and based on the results obtained, one can justify or verify that his/her research is novel. If there are any other systematic methods please suggest.

2 portals, Google and NCBI-Pubmed could be the answer. Type the title, result heading and see if it has been researched in the past?

Thank you for your suggestions. I was interested to know whether are there any scientific, systematic methods to arrive to that conclusion? Is there any literature which speaks about this topic?. Looks like we have to use this crude method of searching in data bases with keywords to conclude about the novelty of our research. Once again, thank you for your insights.
