I am doing project Inspection robot. I read paper to find crack inside the steel pipe using MFL method. Should I use analog Hall sensor for this or digital? Which sensor do I have to use for inspect PVC, Steel and Aluminium Pipe?
For Steel, maybe analog hall sensor is a better choice than digital. Because digital hall sensor is composed of hall sensing element and use a threshold to generate a digital signal, thus some crack may not be detected. But for PVC and Aluminium pipes, Hall sensor doesn't react to them. Maybe ultrasonic sensor can be used, besides, for some visible cracks, vision system is a good choice.
Sir i have already try all this sensor except analog hall sensor, and i have already try ultrasonic sensor to find crack inside PVC and aluminium pipe but may be i am try wrong method. so can you say me how to use ultrasonic sensor to find crack in pvc pipe
i have read some paper they use sound sensor and measure sound vibration aprrox 50 hz outside pvc pipe.
so can i try this ??
