I guess that you need to check the settings of the EndNote, then you may need to reinstall it if you couldn't adjust the mentioned issue. I don't know the possible causes of the problem; however, it may be attributed to an erroneous, or incomplete update.

Dear Colleague

When you import citations from G.Scholar into EndNote, it saves the file somewhere on your computer. When you reach 99 files downloaded, it opens "Save the file" box, so that you can rename the file or save it elsewhere. Here is my advice. See where the old EndNote downloaded files are downloaded and delete them. Hope this helps your issue.

From the setting of your account on Google Scholar, search the setting, there is a tab you can choose to save the citations directly to EndNote. Then, the tab of save citations directly to EndNote appears. The next step is you should adjust the setting on the EndNote to receive citations directly from the Google Scholar. Open the desired EndNote library and go to the Google Scholar and insert citations, It will appear directly in the opened library.

Maybe you need to install the "Plugin" in your browser for EndNote, after adding particular article from plugin, you should synchronize it with EndNote program to import it over there.

I had this problem and had to assign the EndNote application to the file type.

Once I did this, it was automatic.

Change settings of your browser from advance tab ...it ll work for you I guess.
