I having trouble to grow a Arabidopsis thaliana and Thellungiella halophila plants in pot with vermiculite, perlite and soilrite mix 1:1:1: ratio. but it takes more time to grow, then the leaf won't become large and its very small in size overall. plants will also start early flowering. Why is this?
light level requirements are very different for Arabidopsis and Thellungiella. Your Arabidopsis are likely flowering early because of the extended photoperiod (and high light levels) needed to grow robust Thellungiella plants.
