Dear ArcSWAT users,
I am scheduling management operations(MOs) for Rice crop, for a region in south India. In this region crop year stars from June 15(first crop) and ends in November 12 with harvesting operation and rotation of same or different crops(second cropping) will start from 20th of November and continues till March/April (till growth period of second crop).
Here I need to schedule management operations for rotated crop or Rice (rice also) and management operations will continue after November(means, next year also).
How to give MOs in next year (when crop is rotated)?.
If I give MOs after December also in schedule, it considering the MOs in same year (it means that: I started my crop year in June, but I have one operation before starting my crop year) it shouldn't come like that. Here I am unable to change year as 2 to continue the operations after December.
If the given operations of rotated crop continued in year-2, then the scheduling will be in correct sequence(for a double cropping problem).
Can any one suggest me how to give this operation.

Select Input Table to Edit-> Management-> Operations-> Select year in the year section (ex., 1, 2 etc.) and months (Day number). if you're not edit any management for year 2 then it will be rotated. your rotation will happen according to you year wise (1 corn, 2 soy then corn soy rotation)
First select on year 2 the click add year then it goes to year 3. if you want to go from year 1 to year two, just select year 1 then click add year.

1- I went through your process and done as you mentioned. As you mentioned I selected year 1 and clicked on add year then it added second year, but the added second year started with planting operation but I don't want to give another planting operation because I already given planting operation to my crop which is second crop(you can see in image_1, the line above the highlighted one in yellow color).
2- I want to continue giving my management operation in second year also, which should be with year:2-Month:1-Day:16 with auto fertilization operation (which you can see in image_2, highlighted line)
I hope it gave you clear understanding. can you please suggest me now on how to change the year when we continuing the operations in next year also.

Hi, if it is the same crop and same management then you need to enter just 1 year. It will continue throughout your simulation period automatically.

How to give management practice, if i want to continue the management practice in next year also ?

For that, look into the box, in the last column you can change the crop name. You can also save it for individual crop (save schedule and op_num) and pull off using load schedule.
Okay follow the same procedur I mentioned above, but this time instead of clicking add a year, click add operation in any year you want to add Mgnt operation. if you want to add operation in year 1, select year 1 and click add operation. If you want add operation in Year 2, first select year two then click add operation. hope that helps
it is better to use QSWAT, for the management operation, follow all steps mention above by different scholars
