When I'm importing my BioSemi EEG files into EEGLAB, some of them give the number of events. However, a number of files show the events as "none". Why is it that the events are showing for some files and not others? Is there a way to show the event numbers for every file?

The .BDF or .EDF files that are output from Actiview should automatically include any event markers that were made during the recording, and the EEGlab data import functions automatically read these.
Try using the BDFReader software from Biosemi (https://www.biosemi.com/download/ToolsForRuntimeEngine861/BDFreader-808.zip) to read the files that are importing without events. This should allow you to check and see if the event markers were actually recorded.
The other thing to do, would be to check and see if your stimulus delivery software is always sending event codes, and if it is sending the correct event codes. I know of some colleagues who have had ePrime 3.0 just stop sending codes.
Edit ~ You may also want to look at your process for saving files in Actiview (and potentially the config file too), and see make sure that it's set to record the data that you want.
Edit 2 ~ Some stimulus delivery packages also save separate event files that you can import into EEGLab separately to the EEG file itself. So that may also be an option.
