How to fix - due to an Error message in Chromeleon 6.8 and Dionex HPLC - "The array bounds are invalid"?

We are having issues with communication between the software Chromeleon 6.8 and a Dionex Ultimate 3000 HPLC. We get error messages such as "the array bounds are invalid" and "unable to connect to server". Should we re-install the software? Have anybody experienced this lately? We saw a post from 2010 when Dionex was not part of Thermo so the website is gone.
