Not knowing exactly what kind of substrate/mount etc you are dealing with, modular UV/Vis/IR spectrometer can measure the transmission, reflection, absorption of your "surface coating". What typ of samples are you working with? What do need to measure?

I'm considering different options but I'm not interested in performing specific measurements on any material. I would like to find data to characterize the surfaces from previous experiments / general literature. For instance, the Ti-6Al-4V alloy would be interesting to me.
