In recent times we have seen that some of the high profile people have compromised. It no doubt that moral value has gone down over the globe in scientific community of various reasons. At what level of once education or carrier and what kind of interventions needed so that high morality can be restored?

How to ensure high level of ethics (moral value) in scientific community?
Perhaps following measures can be taken:
An honest examination of self may be the first step in maintaining integrity in research. What is the objective of doing research by the individual? To publish papers? To earn money/respect/publicity? Or to know something unknown? Its important to know why you are doing what you are doing. The strenuous process of conducting research is as much important as are the end results. Many times even not getting the desired results add significantly to the area of concerned research. Mistakes done during the process of research are important but manipulating results under some kind of pressure is wrong. Someone once told me "Morals Are Personal". So maintaining integrity in the scientific community starts from self-realization of individual scientists.
