Land imagery between year 2012 to 2006 that is free from scan line error

Although your question is not explicit about this, it suggests you are looking for Landsat 7 data. Data acquired by that instrument after May 31, 2003, may exhibit data gaps due to the failure of the Scan Line Corrector (SLC). See

If that issue hampers your work, you should either apply suitable corrections, for instance as suggested in this paper:

or consider using alternate sources of data. In this latter case, look at offerings from the ASTER, SPOT, or Pleiades instruments, for instance.

Actually, i am working on a project titled: ASSESSMENT OF LAND USE LAND COVER OF FCT ABUJA, NIGERIA"
UNDERSTANDING of the project
1. Data Acquisition: download imageries of different years on USGS EARTH EXPLORER
2. Data Processing: Pre-processing
3. Data Processing and Presentation: image classification.
4. Software: ENVI
5. Classification Method: Artificial Neural Network
Presently, i have been able to download the data (four imageries with five years interval)
Imagery : 2022, 2017, 2012,2007
But after unzipping the files and uploading it on ENVI Environment, 2012 and 2007 data (Landsat 7) had Scan line error.
This is the reason why i asked the question.

It's interesting to use Erdas to perform focus analysis on an image acquired within the period (2003-2013). QGIS also could perform similar analyses.
In addition, ILWIS includes its own Filter algorithm that can be utilized to remove the line errors.
Before continuing with the processing, the findings can be compared closely.

You can check availability over your study area for CBERS data from the Brazilian Space agency INPE (http://www.dgi.inpe.br/CDSR/).
I have used CBERS imagery during that period for land cover and they are similar to Landsat data in spatial and spectral resolution. You only need to register and they can be downloaded directly.

Dear All,
i was able to use Erdas Imagine Software.
using focal analysis Algorithm, after eight (8) iteration, i was able to arrived at scan line error free imagery. see the attached.
