I am taking half quantity of oil and half quantity of methanol, than vertex for 10 min to mix it. Than the upper methanolic portion collecting in other tube or vessel and keeping for methanol evaporation at room temperature. Finally I am getting approximately 5 ml oil from 50 ml volume (25 ml oil and 25 ml methanol).

1. Is it proper way?

2. Getting less quantity.
