My current focus on research is HAp production from biologically waste materials. I need to dissolve HAp for further characterization studies, however i got problems to dissolve it. so pls tell me any method or reference or solvent to dissolve HAp?
HAP could be dissolved under acidic conditions. Please have a look at the following links:

You can dissolve HAP only by destructively i.e. you cannot recover it back. It will dissolve in any of the mineral acids. But after dissolving you will get only the phosphate and calcium ions in the solution but not HAp as a molecule.
