Determining the minimum number of EEG data points required for Independent Component Analysis (ICA) can be challenging, as it depends on several factors such as the signal-to-noise ratio, the number of electrodes, and the complexity of the signal. However, a general rule of thumb is to use at least five times as many observations as there are independent components that you wish to extract.
