Hello dear fellows . . . I want to know is there any way of calculating threshold voltage (up to that voltage there is no issue in performance) of any electrolyte. I am using 0.318 g of LiClO4 in 30 ml Acetonitrile.

I am using 3 electrode cell for CV measurements using the above mentioned electrolyte by varying the applied voltage across sample. As I am increasing the volts I have realized that some reverse actions are not performed in the best way as were by using lower voltage. My main question of interest is either the structure of electrolyte has been damaged thats why I am unable to get the desired results or high voltage have damage thin film structure on the surface of my sample.

P.S: Working on experimentations for coloring bleaching of electrochromic film.
