I am trying to define % reproducibility of a specific bioreactor. Basically I have three identical reactors that are used as triplicates for the same experiment and identical testing. So I would like to calculate in a simple way how similar are the resulting values in an attempt to define reproducibility of results of the reactor. What I did was to calculate how different the resulting values were and subtract this from 1 (the 100% similarity) with this formula (1- VR/AVE)*100 where VR is the value range (xhigh – ylow) and AVE the mean average. I also calculated the % coefficient of variation with StDev/Ave*100 where StDev represents standard deviation. However, I'm not sure if this is sufficient or correct? Anyone with some ideas?
