While I'm solving a system of nonlinear differential equations, using matlab (ode 45), I got this error:
Warning: Failure at t=1.111455e-001. Unable to meet integration
tolerances without reducing the step size below the smallest value allowed
(2.220446e-016) at time t.
How can I change the default setting to meet the tolerance in the error, I did some google search, but I didn't find feasible solution ??

As Andreas said, 1E-16 is small enough—you won't be able to fix the situation by further reducing this tolerance, in particular not, since you are already close to machine precision.
