Corruption is an accepted part of capitalism ; in varying percentage it will stay. The dilemma is socialism is absolute corruption.

Its a crucial question. How to solve the  corruption - as evil o necessity -  in any direction and stage? Particularly serious issue in public. In tone somewhat ironic and tragic, could be change  politicians / officials for machines; find antidotes / inhibitors of the seven deadly sins; or follow the advice of Baron Karl von Stein, who  -as Prussian driver of social and administrative reforms - recommended to shoot every three years to some ministers, advisers and generals, firing all staff of more than 50 years.

More hopeful would expect to see in ending the current economic system in fatal collapse or see if in the space race could found some traces of civilization which have proven effective methods against corruption, as evil or necessity for survival.

Dear All, If democratic governance a known in western democracies has not prevented corruption even as citizens have become more knowledgeable and equipped to discover politicians' lies, how would a similar model of democratizing enterprises, in which they are reorganized such that the workers collectively direct the enterprises, help end corruption. Other experiences at self management in a number of countries notwithstanding, I think that  corruption and other ills and woes of modern society are there to stay unless we are able to reinvent politics altogether. How? .
