I am currently working on propagating a crack on a CT specimen using XFEM. I am following a specific paper and, based on my observations, all the settings appear to be correct. However, I am encountering a convergence issue where the results are aborted every time.

It seems that the problem could be related to the mesh size. I have tried modifying the mesh several times and managed to propagate the crack up to two elements, but it doesn't progress further due to the result abortion. I also attempted increasing the increment in the General Increment Solution Control, but this hasn’t yielded any positive results.

If anyone has experience with this issue or could offer insights into potential solutions, I would greatly appreciate your help. I am open to connecting through Google Meet or another platform to discuss the problem in more detail.
