Hi, I wanted to convert ug/m3 of Particulate Matter to g/kWh to analyse the PM concentration according to emission standard for non-road engines. I only have the concentration of PM10 and PM2.5 in ug/m3.
Can someone please help? Thanks
Dear Debasree Banerjee ,
I think one has to determine at first how may cubic meters are produced in burning fuel to produce one kwh.
Then we multiply the particulate density ug/ m^3 times the cubic meters produced for one kwh.
This can be obtained from the analysis of the burning process.
Best wishes
Dear Debasree,
I think, conversion efficiency is needed to calculate this.
You see that the dimension of μg/m³
and g/ kWh are different.
So you need the conversion efficiency.
Thanks

I have atmospheric concentration data of CO in microgram/m3. Is there a way to convert it in mass (kg) or find out the amount of carbon in kg from it?
