How to convert genome data available on given website in machine learning usable format:ftp: //ftp.1000genomes.ebi./vol1/ftp/release/20130502/ ?

Two queries:

1. Following link provides a huge amount of genome data:

ftp://ftp.1000genomes.ebi.ac.uk/vol1/ftp/release/20130502/

But i am unable to convert in such format so i can perform some machine learning task (Prediction or classification). So, how to convert in such a format so, it can be use with any neural network?

2. What we can predict or classify using the available data on above mentioned website?
