For an internship i have to model and compare Two mechanical links in Abaqus and i was wondering if i could use a connector or have i to model the whole link ?. I have to compare two mechanical links and model the slip in the assembly. I don't how i can model the slip because first the assembly link is considered as an embedding link but after some time it is considered as a sliding pivot. I don't also knwo how to determinate the beginning of the changing of the link's nature. I hope someone could help me there !
