I am writing a survey paper: " Secure routing algorithms for IoT context". I analyzed many proposed algorithms. However, at the end of this paper I tried to compare this work with other surveys. Can anyone advice me what are the parameters should be taken in consideration to provide a scientific comparison.

the following criteria can be used to compare routing algorithms for IoT context:
- Convergence time
- Support for various link and node metrics
- Support of additive and multiplicative route metrics
- Support of Virtual WSANs
- Support of Load Balancing
In addition there are different security relevant criteria - for example: Support for various security-relevant link and node metrics

According to ACM Computing Surveys, a survey paper is defined as "A paper that summarizes and organizes recent research results in a novel way that integrates and adds understanding to work in the field. A survey article assumes a general knowledge of the area; it emphasizes the classification of the existing literature, developing a perspective on the area, and evaluating trends." Therefore, you need to highlight in what sense is your survey different from the ones in the literature, i.e., how do you justify the need for a new survey paper? E.g., new classification, assessing reviewed papers using a new criteria, i.e., existing surveys miss a particular aspect or even an update to existing surveys...
