The consistency index of the power-law fluid is a fluid parameter. So you may refer any standard textbook/literature for the range of values for the type of fluid being simulated. You may also use the temperature dependent expression for consistency index.

Dear Prof. Lubhani Mishra, I have the Reynolds number relation like, Re = rho*U*R^n/K*U^(n-1), where rho is density, R is radius, n is behavior index, K is consistency index, and U is the mean velocity. Now for fluid slow motion (i.e., Re=0.1), if rho, U, R and n, are known, It is correct to approximately calculate the consistency index?. I have seen in literature, that your advisor have calculated like this. Thank you.
