I suggest identifying / assigning the bands and can also calculate the band area. First normalize the intensity of the bands and then calculate the band area (using OriginPro8).

What is the form of the FTIR spectrum - graphic (printout) or digital? In my opinion, the manufacturer of the device should provide software adapted to this purpose. If not, the methods used in the times of our grandmothers remain, i.e. a sheet of paper with a millimeter scale and graphical integration.
