Hi,
I want to check boiling heat flux on plain tube and finned tube surface.
Then I will calculate boiling heat transfer coefficient.
( Tube located as horizontal in water tank)
I am using VOF model. But when I check heat flux on tube surface it it reducing till end of period . So how to know which heat flux value should be taken into account ?
Does anyone have any suggestion ?
If you find that the heat flux is reducing over time, it may be due to a decrease in the temperature difference between the fluid inside the tube and the surrounding environment. This reduction could be caused by a decrease in the boiling rate or an increase in the heat transfer coefficient. To determine which heat flux value should be taken into account, you can use the average heat flux over the entire monitoring period.
