I have polychromatic proton beam for which I would like to calculate the DPA in a slab of material as a function of depth. However, it seems that on SRIM/TRIM we can only use monoenergetic beams. Is there a possible solution to this?
You can perform several simulations according your energy spectra; this procedure can be run for different slabs. Do you understand? It will be a long road until the end because of the number of simulations but it's the first thing that comes to my mind.
Ok, I am saying this, perform as many "single energy" simulations as needed for each thickness. I think it may be possible to build a spectrum by tuning the simulation parameters. Does the beam have equal number of particles for each energy? Try to characterize your beam first.
