We have a research farm, where 6 tube wells ( one 15 hp, two 10 hp and three 5 hp capacity) are installed and these are interconnected too through GI irrigation pipe network. There are 72 outlets (hydrants), which supply water for crops, livestock, fisheries and domestic purpose. Inflow at 6 points on tube wells can be measured. Not all tube wells ( one, two or maximum three tube wells) are operated at the same time to meet the requirement. I don't have measuring devices attached at each outlet, but I want to know the discharge. Since discharge will vary due to friction loss/pressure head difference at outlets, is there any way of estimation of discharge at these outlet through modelling? Kindly suggest mathematical model and explain with example.
